Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of wrist-ankle acupuncture in treating uterine contraction-induced pain after painless abortion.Methods Ninety patients with uterine contraction-induced pain after painless abortion were randomly allocated to groups A, B and C, 30 cases each. Group A received wrist-ankle acupuncture; group B, an intravenous drip of phloroglucinol injection; group C, routine postoperative nursing. Uterine contraction-induced pain was scored using the VAS in the three groups at various time points before and after treatment. The clinical therapeutic effects were compared between the three groups. Results In groups A and B, there was a statistically significant differences in the VAS score at various time points (5, 15 and 30 min) after treatment compared with before (P<0.01). There was a statistically significant difference in the VAS score at various time points after treatment between group A or B and group C (P<0.01). The total efficacy rate was 93.3% in group A, 90.0% in group B and 16.7% in group C. There was a statistically significant difference in the total efficacy rate between group A or B and group C (P<0.01).Conclusion Wrist-ankle acupuncture is an effective way to treat uterine contraction-induced pain after painless abortion.关键词
