摘要
Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of bamboo-circled salt moxibustion plus acupuncture in treating lower back pain due to primary osteoporosis.Methods Forty patients with lower back pain due to primary osteoporosis were randomly allocated to treatment and control groups, 20 cases each. The treatment group received bamboo-circled salt moxibustion plus acupuncture and the control group, acupuncture alone. Lower back pain was scored and T value in bone mineral density was measured in the two groups before and after treatment.Results There were statistically significant pre-/post-treatment differences in the lower back pain score and T value in bone mineral density in the two groups (P<0.01,P<0.05). There were statistically significant post-treatment differences in the lower back pain score and T value in bone mineral density between the treatment and control groups (P<0.05).Conclusion Bamboo-circled salt moxibustion is an effective way to treat lower back pain due to primary osteoporosis.关键词
