Abstract

Objective:To know about the nurse patient communication ability of low seniority of nurses the sta-tus quo and requirements of nurse patient communication training,so as to provide the basis for carrying out targeted training and improving the training effect.Methods:A total of 168 low seniority nurses receiving stand-ardized training in Peking University People’s Hospital were selected and received the questionnaire survey.The questionnaire included three aspects of contents such as the basic information of nurses,receiving communica-tion training,and practical communication and contradiction processing ability.Results:72.02% of the nurses had received nurse patient communication training,73.81% of the nurses thought that it was necessary to re-ceive or receive the nurse patient communication skills training.21.43% of the nurses often encountered diffi-culties in communication with patients,41.07% of nurses thought that the patients and their families could easi-ly understand their own language;60.71% of nurses thought that they could identify the discontent of patients in advance;30.95% of nurses had nurse patient contradictions or complaints at least once.The low seniority of nurses with shortery ears of service and better language expression skills had fewer nurse patient contradic-tions or complaints(P<0.05).Conclusion:The whole communication skills.Contradiction:Identification and treatment ability of the low seniority of nurses were poor.There was still a need for nurse patient communica-tion training in the clinical work.The training form should favor the case analysis.The nurses with longer work-ing years and poor language skills should be paid attention to during training.
