摘要

Abstract

In order to protect the LC and devices with high operating voltage,the thicker thickness of the alignment layer is used.When the thickness of the alignment layer can not be neglected,the in-creasing of the alignment layer’s thickness leads to the increasing of the operating voltage.The influ-ences of the thickness and dielectric constant of the alignment layer on LCD are researched in simula-tion and experiment based on twist nematic liquid crystal display (TN-LCD).The results show that the operating voltage can be reduced effectively when the dielectric constant of the alignment layer is larger than 20,a little effect of the various thickness on the operating voltage can be seen when the di-electric constant is larger than 500.The result has an important significance for reducing the operating voltage of liquid crystal device with high operating voltage.
