澳大利亚全科医学近几十年的变化

Abstract
General practice has always been the cornerstone of Australia′s healthcare system,almost all Australians visit a general practitioner(GP)at least once a year. We sought to gain a bird′s eye view of major changes in the characteristics of the GP workforce,the patients they see and the complexity of their encounters with patients from 1990 to 2015,and found that the GP workforce,patients at GP encounters and content of encounters have changed over the past 25 years. GPs′ clinical work has become more centred on care of older people,more frequent management of chronic conditions,more clinical and therapeutic procedures,and more referrals and test ordering.关键词
