Abstract
Objective To discuss the clinical efficacy of locking intramedullary nail and locking plate in treatment of proximal humeral fractures in elderly patients. Methods Clinical data of 68 cases with proximal humeral fractures from Jan 2014 to Jul 2015 were respectively analyzed. All cases were divided into two groups according to treatment methods. Group A of 35 cases was treated with locking intramedullary nail, and group B of 33 cases was treated with locking plate. Clinical efficacy of two groups was compared. Results Fracture healing time of group A was earlier than group B(P < 0.01). VAS score and Constant-Murley score after treatment of two groups showed no significant difference(P>0.05). Conclusion Locking intramedullary nail in treatment of proximal humeral fractures in elderly patients is of less trauma, and postoperative recovery is faster, worthy of clinical promotion.关键词
