摘要
Abstract
Objective To explore the application value of failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) in emergency transfusion room and injection room. Methods In April 2015, FMEA failure mode theory and operation training were progressed in author’s hospital. 112 cases of patients received in emergency transfusion room and injection room before training (from April 2014 to March 2015) were randomly selected as control group, and 120 cases of patients after training (from April 2015 to January 2016) were selected as observation group. Complaints, patients care satisfaction, failure mode RPN value change, and patients waiting time change before and after the transformation of FMEA mode were retrospectively analyzed. Results RPN value of failure mode in transfusion room and injection room of observation group was significantly lower than that of control group, and average waiting time of control group (23.50±3.24) min was reduced to (11.23 ±2.95) min. Infusion complaints rate of observation group 7.14%, which was lower than that of control group with 0.83%.Nursing satisfaction rate of observation group was 90.83%, which was higher than that of control group with 79.46%,P < 0.05. Conclusion The FMEA model has the following functions in emergency transfusion room and injection room:(1)It is beneficial to improve the operation process of emergency transfusion room and injection room, so as to improve the work efficiency and shorten the waiting time of patients.(2) It can troubleshoot potential risk factors, improve the responsibility of nursing staff, reduce the operation of omissions and errors, improve the overall quality.(3)It can create a good waiting environment, improve the good quality of care, reduce patient complaints, improve nursing satisfaction.关键词
