摘要

Abstract

The spectrogram of recorded birdsongs was analyzed in the present study,birdsong features were compared in pre-and post-lesion adult male Bengalese finches.Birdsong complexity in phrase-level was found to decrease.One syllable was distorted and became similar to the other one.At 30th day post-lesion, non-typical songs lost largely and were generally shortened.After-lesion-songs showed more noise that their feature statistics;mean frequence increased,but entropy reduced.Bilateral lesion of NIf nuclei was found to reduce birdsong variations,suggesting that NIf is involved in song complexity,and plays an important role in song production.
