摘要

Abstract

Dietary physical effective fiber is an expression index of dietary fiber nutrient value with both physi⁃cal and chemical properties, and it plays an important role in cow’ s chewing activity, ruminal functions and body health status. Cereal Rumen degradable starch is the main energy source for microbial protein synthesis. There is a certain balance between dietary physical effective fiber and cereal rumen degradable starch. This pa⁃per summarized the effects of dietary physical effective fiber, cereal rumen degradable starch and their associa⁃tive effect on chewing activity and apparent digestibility of cows for further understanding of balance of dietary carbohydrates.
