An overview of the 21 Jan 2016 MS6.4 Menyuan earthquake sequences in Qinghai Province
摘要
Abstract
On 21 Jan.2016,a MS6.4 earthquake occurred near by Menyuan,in Qinghai Province.It is an another disastrous earthquake taking place in Qinghai Province 30 years after the 26 Aug.1986 MS6.5 Menyuan earthquake.In the meizoseismal area,the intensity reaches Ⅷ.The earthquake disaster caused zero casualties and lighter losses.This paper summarizes the basic source parameters,earthquake sequences,seismological background and seismotectonic structures of this earthquake.The features of the two strong earthquakes occurred in the same area in 30 years was compared.关键词
