Abstract
Objective To explore the relation between periodontal health conditions of gestational diabetes mellitus ( GDM) patients and serum stress reaction indexes. Methods Totally 85 woman with GDM hospitalized in treated in Hangzhou Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from February 2014 to February 2016 were selected in observation group, and 85 healthy pregnant woman taking routine check at the same time were selected in control group.Periodontal health situations, including gingival index ( GI) , bleeding on probing ( BOP) , attachment loss (AL), probing depth (PD), serum c-reactive protein (CRP), interleukin-2 (IL-2) and interleukin 8 (IL-8) of gingival sulcus fluid of two groups were compared. Results In the control group GI (t=5.32), BOP (χ2 =4.52), AL (t=5.24) and PD (t=4.65) were obviously better than those in the observation group ( all P <0.05 ) , and CRP, IL-2, IL-8 of the control group were significantly lower than those of the observation group (t value was 4.72, 5.21 and 4.77, respectively, all P<0.05).Serum CRP level, IL-2 and IL-8 of gingival sulcus liquid were obviously and positively correlated with blood sugar levels in different groups ( r value was 0.31, 0.45 and 0.39, respectively, all P<0.05).Conclusion Serum stress reaction indexes of patients with GDM are relatively high, which is correlated with periodontal health conditions in pregnancy.关键词
