Abstract
Objective To explore the brain of homocysteine(Hcy) levels in patients with ischemic stroke and the correlation of carotid artery atheromatous plaque.Methods Collected in May 2012 to July 2012,560 cases of patients with ischemic stroke,ac-cording to the Hcy circulating enzymatic automatic analyzer detection of Hcy levels,divided the patients into higher groups(Hcy levels higher than normal) and normal group(Hcy levels in the normal level),and ultrasonic determination of two groups of patients with carotid artery atheromatous plaque,finally USES the control variables and Logistic regression method analysis elevated homo-cysteine levels are promoting the occurrence of carotid artery plaque formation.Results In the collection of 560 cases of ischemic stroke patients,elevated group with 330 cases,normal group with 230 cases,control variable method analysis showed that age,gen-der,smoking,body mass index (BMI) and hypertension,homocysteine can affect the formation of carotid atheromatous plaque (P<0.05),Logistic regression analysis results show that after controlling for other factors,the rise of Hcy levels help carotid plaques happen (odds ratio=1.91,95% CI 1.91~3.34,P=0.039).Conclusion The increased plasma Hcy levels is a risk factor for promote carotid atheromatous plaque formation.关键词
