Preliminary study on transgenic poplar mediated with VaCBF3 gene from Vitis amurensis by pollen-tube pathway approach

摘要

Abstract

By taking crossing offspringof Populus deltoides‘D189’ andP. deltoidesBartr. el. ‘Lux’×P. deltoides Bartr ‘Shanhaiguan’ as parents, the plasmid carried withVitisCBF3 (VaCBF3) was transferred into poplar through stigma-drop by Pollen-Tube Pathway approach. The results from PCR–analysis showed that 5 out of 52 transformed offspring were amplified in the form of target stripe, which indicated that the target gene had been integrated into poplar genome. The result could provide a clue for further research on new cold-resistance poplar via pollen-tube pathway approach.
