On the Cultural Changes of the Hui Nationality's Festivals and Cuisine in Shuncheng Street of Kunming:Taking the Urbanization Tide as the Research Background

Abstract
The Hui minority area of Shuncheng Street in Wuhua district of Kunming is the only minori-ty nationality living in the center of the capital city of Yunnan province.With the rapid development of Kunming due to the urbanization in China nowadays,especially after the demolition,the Muslim community of the street,which is used to be the"spiritual community",has undergone tremendous changes.There-fore,this paper explored the diachronic changes of the social culture of the Hui people through the investi-gation of the religious psychology of the revival of Muslims focusing on their festivals of the Eid al-Fitr,Eid al-Adha and Mawlid together with the cuisine changes in the street of Niu Ganba.It also proposed the problems of how to strengthen the national cohesion in the city during the urbanization process which has caused the Hui people to live scattered.It is very important and necessary to keep the national cohesion and the spiritual community in the process of urbanization in Kunming.关键词
