Abstract
Colormatching is a very critical procedure in esthetic dentistry. The color harmony between a prosthesis and adjacentnatural tooth determines the success of the ifnal restoration. Prosthodontical color matchingoutcome is inlfuencedby the natural tooth color,lightening condition, the color matchingmethodology, observing environment and the observer’s proficiency. Expertise in practical dental color knowledgesand applying theskill in clinical work is essential for accurate colorrestoration. In this review,updated color matching methods were summarized and the advantages and drawbacks of visual,instrument and digital photography based color matchingmethods were discussed.关键词
