Abstract
OBJECTIVE:To strengthen the management and control of adjuvant drugs,and to improve the rational drug use. METHODS:The management measures of adjuvant drugs in our hospital were introduced. The data of drug use were collected from our hospital before(2014)and after(2015)adjuvant drugs management,and then analyzed statistically by SPSS 19.0 statisti-cal software in respects of drug proportion,the per-visit drug expense and the number of patients’complaints. The effects of man-agement were evaluated. RESULTS:The adjuvant drugs management obtained significant achievement in our hospital through strengthening adjuvant drugs management,including confirming the definition and standard of adjuvant drugs,formulating adjuvant drugs list and classifying them,reducing purchase quantity,physician training,patient education,technological and administrative intervention,etc. The drug proportion had reduced from 45% in 2014 to 35% in 2015;per-visit inpatient drug expense had re-duced from 2 000 yuan around to 1 400 yuan around;per-visit outpatient drug expense had reduced from 250 yuan around to 180 yuan around;the number of patients’complaints had reduced from 60 around to 15 around in every season;the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). CONCLUSIONS:The adjuvant drugs management and control can not only reduce the hospital’ s expense and the patients burdens,but also enhance the rational drug use and improve the doctor-patient relationship. Neverthe-less,there are some difficulties yet,on account of lacking of occupation policies and criteria. The national health department should publish the policies and the criteria of adjuvant drug management as soon as possible.关键词
