Institutional Quality,International R & D Spillover and Long-term Economic Growth-Based on Panel Data Quantile Regression
摘要
Abstract
Based on the endogenous growth theory,this paper brought institutional quality into the analysis frame of R&D promoting long-term economic growth,and by using panel data of 1 32 countries and regions from 1 993 to 201 3,it also applied a quantile regression method to investigate the indirect influence of institutional quality on the international R&D spillovers through imports of trade in goods and service and FDI.Results show institutional quality has a significant effect on technological progress,but the quantile location is an important influencing factor,which indicate that the technology level of a country would affect the institutional quality directly and indirectly.关键词
