Which is Superior:FDI or R & D Investment?-Based on the Prospective of China's Innovation Development Strategy
摘要
Abstract
Based on the PVAR model,this paper makes the analysis of the mutual influence of FDI,R&D investment and innovation.The empirical results show that the “exchange market for technology”policy is not outdated,but will still promote Chinese enterprises' innovation capacity;R&D investment will lead to the development of indigenous innovation capability,however,accompanied by a change rate of R&D investment,the innovation did not improve synchronization. China still lacks appropriate infrastructure and can not effectively use the funds,so the increase of R&D investment should be cautious.In addition,foreign investment will result in “crowding out”of R&D,thus,from the long-term perspective, China should gradually get rid of the dependence on foreign invest,in order to improve the indigenous innovation capability.关键词
