Abstract
Objective To explore thymic stromal lymphopoietin (TSLP) expression on the prognosis of patients with gastric cancer .Methods A total of 110 patients with gastric cancer were collected .Immunohistochemistry was used to test TSLP expres‐sion in non‐cancerous gastric tissue and gastric cancer tissue from patients with gastric cancer .Results TSLP expression in the ear‐ly stage of gastric cancer ,including T 1 stage and 1 - 2 clinical stage ,were significantly higher than the later stage of gastric cancer (T2 to T4 stage) (P< 0 .05) .And the expression of TSLP in lymph node metastasis (P= 0 .001) ,liver metastasis (P= 0 .024) ,pos‐itive peritoneal lavage cytology (P= 0 .016) ,lymphatic invasion (P= 0 .001) and vascular invasion (P= 0 .011) were significantly higher than that of non‐cancerous gastric tissue .The prognosis of patients with positive expression of TSLP was worse than that of patients without expression of TSLP .Multivariate analysis identified that serum TSLP level was an independent risk indicator for the prognosis of patients with gastric cancer (P= 0 .001 ,H R = 3 .537 ,95% CI :1 .632 - 7 .666) .Conclusion TSLP is closely related to the progression of in patients with gastric cancer ,which could be used as an indicator in evaluating the prognosis of patients with gastric cancer .关键词
