摘要

Abstract

A finite element method is developed and validated to reflect cold stamping process of heads through ANSYS /LS -DYNA.Based on this method,the plastic deformation of three kinds of normally-used heads is studied and the reason why plastic deformation varies with the type of head is also analyzed. It is found that 2∶1 dished head can gain sufficient and uniform plastic deformation through cold stamping (no heat treatment),which in turn effectively increase the proof strength.Thus,cold stamping can be served as a method to solve the problem that the sphere part of head cannot be sufficiently strengthened in cold-stretching process because of its thickness,as well as a method to avoid heat treatment after cold-forming.
