Investigation of Near-zero Air Pollutant Emission Characteristics From Coal-fired Power Plants

Abstract
The industrial standard of “near-zero emission” were put forwarded by Shenhua Group Corporation Ltd. since 2013, which required the emissions from coal-fired power plants is lower than that for the gas turbine power plants of the emission standard of air pollutants for thermal power plants (GB13223—2011). The different technological roadmaps have been studied and different engineering practices have been carried out by Shenhua Group Corporation Ltd. In this paper, typical near-zero emissions coal-fired units of Shenhua in the area of Jing-Jin-Ji-Liao were investigated. The emission data of the pollutions (PM, SO2, NOx) before and after the nero-zero emission retrofitted were collected and analysis in the field of different power plants. After units retrofitted, the results show that the PM, SO2, and NOx concentration are lower than that emission limits for the gas turbine power plants with different loads in the long-term studied. The practice of near-zero emissions indicate that it is technical feasible, economical reasonable and environmental effects significant.关键词
