Abstract
[ABSTRACT] Objective To introduce the surgical techniques and clinical results of transfer the third toenail lfap to cover the defect of ifngertip.MethodsFrom January 2008 to March 2016, the third toenail lfaps were harvested to reconstruct ifngertip defect, including 3 cases in the index ifnger, 10 cases in the middle ifnger, 2 cases in ring ifnger and 1 case in the little ifnger. The donor sites were direct closure. The follow-ups lasted from 6 months to 36 months. ResultsAll cases survive aesthetically and functionally. There is no signiifcant morbidity at the donor site and no complaint about walking.Conclusions The third toenail lfap is an excellent operation to reconstruct the ifngertip with excellent function and appearance result.关键词
