Abstract
[ABSTRACT] ObjectiveTo evaluate the efficacy and safety of 800 nm vacuum diode laser axillary hair removal system. MethodsA total of 400 patients (800 sites) were treated with 800 nm vacuum diode laser to perform axillary hair removal. The parameters were set as below: wave length 800nm, energy density:15-30 J /cm2,spot size: 9mm×8mm,and pulse duration: 30-100 ms.The interval time was 6 to 8 weeks. The efifcacy was evaluated after third times and sixth times treatment.Result In total,400 patients had satisfactory effects after 3 to 6 continuous treatments. The axillary hair was reduced obviously and the regenerated hair was ifne and pale.Three times after treatment, 10.75% patients had more than 95% axillary hair reduction. After six times treatment, all the patients had more than 95% hair reduction. A part of patients occurred erythema, pruritus, hyperhidrosis, bromidrosis, folliculitis, and all of them were recovered in one to three month. No complication were found after long-term follow-up time.Conclusion 800 nm diode laser vacuum axillary hair removal system is a relatively safe,efifcient and high satisfaction for axillary hair removal with few complication.关键词
