The Influence of Vehicle Transient Aerodynamic Characteristics on the Steering Stability During the Curve Crossing
摘要
Abstract
The method of overlapping grid was applied to numerically simulation.The transient aerodynamic characteristics of the flow fields around two simplified model SAE were studied when they crossed each other.During the short crossing,side force,yawing moment and rolling moment,which will affect steering stability,changed direction,quickly reached their positive and negative value.On this basis,the transient aerodynamic forces were applied on vehicle system dynamic model for simulationto study the influence on handling stability.The simulation results show that under the action of transient aerodynamic forces,both vehicles will generate lateral slip angle,yawing angular velocity and rolling angular velocity.Although the values were small,it would have some influence on the handling stability.关键词
