Assessment of Human He alth R isk from Heavy Metals in Farmland Soil Based on Their Bioaccessibility

Abstract
The bioaccessibilities of 7 kinds of heavy metals in farmland soil in Guangxi were studied by using SBET method , and the risks of the oral intake of these heavy metals to the health of children and adults were assessed .The results indicated that the average bioaccessibility of Cd, Cu, Zn, Ni, Pb, As and Cr in the soil was 70.55%, 25.72%, 10.89%, 10.81%, 7.78%, 0.93%and 0.71%, respectively.Under the condition of not modifying the human health risk assessment results by the bioaccessi-bility, the total non-carcinogenic risk (HI) and total carcinogenic risk (Rt) of soil heavy metals to children were 2.47 and 6.12× 10-5, respectively, and the HI and Rt to adults were 0.32 and 4.01×10-5, separately, suggesting that the heavy metals in the farmland soil had a great risk to the health of children .After modifying the human health risk assessment results by the bioaccessi-bility, the non-carcinogenic risk and carcinogenic risk of soil heavy metals to both children and adults were decreased by a large margin, but they still had a certain risk to the health of children .关键词
