摘要

Abstract

To further explore the bleaching mechanism of metal complexes to cotton fabric, the metal complexes adsorption properties of cotton fabrics were investigated. Pseudo first- and second-order kinetic models were used to examine the adsorption kinetic data. The results indicated that the pseudo-second order kinetic model can describe the metal complexes adsorption kinetics of cotton fabric well. Simulating colorant decolorization process of cotton fabric with Morin, metal complex/hydrogen peroxide system decolorization dynamic performance was studied, reaction rate constant and the activation energy of the reaction were calculated. The results indicated that decolorization process of metal complex/hydrogen peroxide system was found to satisfy the pseudo first-order kinetic model. The addition of metal complexes was able to significantly reduce the activation energy.
