Study of metal complexes adsorption kinetics of cotton fabric and decolorization kinetics of morin

Abstract
To further explore the bleaching mechanism of metal complexes to cotton fabric, the metal complexes adsorption properties of cotton fabrics were investigated. Pseudo first- and second-order kinetic models were used to examine the adsorption kinetic data. The results indicated that the pseudo-second order kinetic model can describe the metal complexes adsorption kinetics of cotton fabric well. Simulating colorant decolorization process of cotton fabric with Morin, metal complex/hydrogen peroxide system decolorization dynamic performance was studied, reaction rate constant and the activation energy of the reaction were calculated. The results indicated that decolorization process of metal complex/hydrogen peroxide system was found to satisfy the pseudo first-order kinetic model. The addition of metal complexes was able to significantly reduce the activation energy.关键词
