Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of stellate ganglion block( SGB) on the inflammatory response in traumatic brain injury( TBI) patients by observing the expression of NF-κB and AP-1 c-Jun in patients with TBI. Methods This study se-lected 30 cases of patients with traumatic brain injury,divided them into SGB treatment group and control group. We drew blood from the right internal jugular vein 5mL of patients from SGB treatment group respectively at five points,before SGB (T1),after1h (T2),after2d (T3),after4d (T4),after7d (T5),we did the same with patients from the control group at the same time pointwith SGB treatment group. We isolated the lymphocytes and detected the expression of NF-κB and AP-1 c-Jun in lymphocytes by Western Blot method. Results The protein expression level of c-Jun after SGB treatment was significantly lower than that in the control group in the 2d,4d and 7d,the difference was statistically significant(P<0. 01). After TBI,the expression of IκB-α of patients in control group was significantly decreased,which decreased the most obvious 7d after injury;but the expression of IκB-α of patients in SGB group was increased,the peak was in the fourth day after injury. In control group,the levels of NF-κB p65、NF-κB p50 were increased in different degrees,the peak was the fourth day after injury,but the NF-κB p65 protein level was significantly decreased after SGB treatment. Conclusion SGB can reduce the inflammatory reaction of TBI patients,inhibit the activation of NF-κB and AP-1 in lym-phocyte.关键词
