唐代男性服饰腰带解析
Analysis on belt of men's apparel in Tang dynasty
摘要
Abstract
This paper studied the composition, wearing method and use objects of belts. By collecting ancient documents and especially records on the belt and the images on Dunhuang cavern murals, tomb murals and scroll paintings in Tang dynasty, the apparel was verified by mutual corroboration. It is found that the belt was one of common men’s apparels in Tang dynasty. Most people, including the emperor, government officials with or without rank, and common people would wear the belt. The features and purposes of belts changed with time in the early Tang, middle Tang and late Tang. Different colors and materials were used for different ranks. This research can provide a useful reference and inspiration for the better heritage and development of modern waist decoration culture.关键词
