Abstract
The aging of two kinds of styrene butadiene rubber (SBR)(SBR-1502 and SBR-SiO2 containing 20%(by mass)SiO2 ) was studied with UV aging and thermal oxidative aging methods,respectively.The aging mechanism was studied using FT-IR,1H-NMR,and UV-vis absorption spectroscopy.The results showed that the ability of resistance to UV aging of SBR was poor.After UV aging for 0.5 day,the molecular structure changed sharply.The ability of resistance to thermal oxidative aging of SBR was much bet-ter than its ability of resistance to UV aging.After thermal oxidative aging for 5 days,the molecular structure began to change. SiO2 had the ability of significantly increasing the ability of resistance to UV aging.During UV aging,α-H of double bond was oxi-dized to alcohol,then to aldehyde,and ultimately the largeπ-conj ugated structure was formed.The functional groups of SBR showed the following order of aging reaction activity:α-H of double bond>1 ,2-polymerized double bond>1 ,4-polymerized double bond>benzene ring.关键词
