摘要

Abstract

In this work,the scale-up preparation of the catalysts for syngas methanation is investigated and the catalysts are charac-terized,aiming to discover the fundamentals for such a scale-up.The results of catalytic performance evaluation for the scale-up pre-paration catalysts show that the catalysts retained excellent reaction performance from gram to 10 kg scale preparations.Detailed characterization of the kilogram-scale prepared catalysts is carried out by applying Brunauer-Emmett-Teller test (BET),X-ray dif-fraction(XRD),X-ray fluorescence(XRF),hydrogen temperature programmed reduction(H2-TPR),scanning electron microscope (SEM),transmission electron microscope (TEM),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS)and carbon elemental analysis in this work.The characterization results reveal that the catalysts prepared with different scales have similar textural structures,phase struc-tures,element compositions,reducibility,and resistance of carbon deposition under the given scale-up preparation conditions.Thus, this work lends fundamental confidence to scale up the catalyst in industry.
