Abstract
Objective:To investigate the status quo of professional identity of nursing undergraduates from dif-ferent types of college and analyze the differences, and thus to provide reference for professional identity education of nursing undergraduates from different types of college. Methods:Combined the method of convenient sampling with the random sampling, a total of 175 nursing undergraduates from three different types of college in Shaanxi Province were surveyed on professional identity. Results:The total score of professional identity was 60. 64 ± 9. 38, and the nursing students of class 1 college scored ( 57 . 32 ± 9 . 11 ) , which significantly lower than that of class 2 college(63. 07 ± 10. 37) and class 3 college(61. 53 ± 8. 66). The two factor scores of "social comparison and self-reflection"and"career self-concept" respectively were(12.23 ±1.27)and(16.54 ±5.12)for nursing students of class 1 college,having a significant difference compared with those of class 2 and class 3 college (P<0. 05). Conclusion:Nursing undergraduates from different types of colleges did not have a high level of professional iden-tity, the level of professional identity for nursing students of class 1 college was lower than that of class 2 college and class 3 college. Professional self-concept for nursing students of class 1 college was poor than that of class 2 college and class 3 college, but the status of professional identity was in the active exploring stage.关键词
