Management Practice of High-Alert Drugs Under the JCI Thinking
摘要
Abstract
Objective To investigate the safety management model of high-alert drugs for safe use under the Joint Commission Interna-tional Standard(JCI)thinking. Methods Management standards were formulated according to JCI requirements. Management practice was implemented according to these standards. The changes in drug management before and after the JCI evaluation were compared. Results The hospital′s management system of high-alert drug entered a normalized and standardized mode,i. e. ,improving the system and cata-logue of high-alert drug,establishing medical orders monitoring and warning system and unifying the warning signs,as well as formaliz-ing the drug deployment and usage. Conclusion Significant warning signs of the high-alert drugs are shown in each circulation link in the hospital with strict monitoring,which can ensure the medication safety of the patients.关键词
