Abstract
Objective To analyze the efficacy and safety of Paliperidone Extended-Release Tablets in the treatment of psychiatric symptoms in patients with dementia. Methods 60 patients with psychiatric symptoms in our hospital from April 2013 to July 2014 were selected and randomly divided into the control group and the observation group. The observation group received Paliperidone Extended-Release Tablets,and the control group was given olanzapine treatment. The therapeutic efficacy of the two groups was observed. Results The incidence rate of adverse reactions in the observation group was lower than the control group( P < 0. 05);2 weeks after treatment,the clinical efficacy of the observation group was higher than that of control group( P < 0. 05);there was no significant difference in clinical efficacy between the two groups after 12 weeks of treatment ( P > 0. 05). Conclusion Paliperidone Extended-Release Tablets has a good effect in the treatment of mental symptoms of patients with dementia with rapid onset of action and high safety,which is worthy of clinical promotion.关键词
