Impedance Analysis and Design of Matching Circuit in Wireless Power Transfer System via Coupled Magnetic Resonances

Abstract
Impedance mismatch in wireless power transfer system may lead to the problems of low efficiency or burnout power amplifier. Taken the coupling factor, resistance of power and coil into account, this paper analyzed the power amplifier load impedance of four-coil model wireless power transfer system via coupled magnetic resonances, based on mutual inductance coupling theory. Since the impedance is difficult to achieve the ideal effect by changing the system mutual inductance, the impedance matching circuit was proposed and designed. Matching circuit ofπ type was designed, the calculating method and its results were given. In the end, the experiment device of wireless power transfer via coupled magnetic resonances was developed. Experimental results were consistent with the theoretical analysis. Thus it provides a useful reference for further studies on adaptive impedance matching and the improvement of the wireless power transfer power and efficiency.关键词
