Abstract
On March 31,2015,a widespread electrical blackout occurred in Turkey.The blackout was caused by the trip on the overload of a certain 400 kV line in the transmission corridor from east to west.The following cascading failures led to the blackout.Almost all the electricity power supplies of Turkey were interrupted.This paper describes the general system conditions before the blackout,the sequence of events and the system restoration process.Then the lessons of the blackout are analyzed and summarized.Furthermore,the root reasons of the blackout are analyzed.Finally,certain recommendations for guaranteeing the security and stability of power grid and preventing the occurrence of blackout in China are given.关键词
