脉冲调制辐射场的场强测量
Measurement of pulse-modulated radiation field strength
摘要
Abstract
To achieve the accurate measurement of pulse-modulated radiation field strength from a high power radar,a frequency selective method is proposed based on the theoretical analysis of the pulse-modulated radiation field.The zero span mode of the spectrum analyzer was utilized and the resolution bandwidth was set as the maximum value of 10 MHz.Then,the field strengths which simulate the pulse-modulated signals from radar were measured with the proposed method.In addi-tion,the limitation of the electric field probe method was analyzed based on the field strength meas-urement experiment.The results show that the peak field strength,the average field strength over the pulse duty cycle and the average field strength over a full rotation from the pulse-modulated radar can be accurately measured with the presented method.As for the electric field probe with diode detec-tors,the measurement result is smaller than the true value if the pulse-modulated radiation field strength exceeds the true root-mean-square(RMS)range of an electric field probe,and the maxi-mum deviation from the true value is over 4 dB .The electric field probe with thermocouple detectors is only appropriate for the accurate measurement of the average field strength.关键词
