Effect of Amniotic Fluid Index and the Maximum Vertical Depth of Amniotic Fluid Dark Area in the Prediction of Adverse Pregnancy Outcomes

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the amniotic fluid index ( AFI) and the vertical depth of the lar-gest amniotic fluid dark area ( MVP ) in the prediction of adverse pregnancy outcomes. Methods: A total of 5198 cases with hospital routine check-ups and delivery were collected. Color ultrasound test was used to de-termine whether the presence of oligohydramnios. AFI and MVP was calculated, and under comparison of two methods, the effect of pregnancy outcome was predicted. Results: In both judging method, from 37 to 40 weeks in pregnancy, There's no significant difference between two groups in adverse pregnancy outcome such as fetal distress, meconium, neonatal asphyxia, meconium aspiration syndrome, the incidence of neonatal into the NICU. In both judging method, from 40+1 to 42 weeks in pregnancy. The incidence of adverse pregnancy outcomes had significantly different, such as fetal distress, meconium, meconium aspiration syndrome, the in-cidence of neonatal NICU, which were significantly higher in MVP patients than AFI group. Conclusion: In patients with oligohydramnios delivered from 40+1 to 42 weeks, MVP≤2.0cm determination method is superior to AFI≤5.0cm, which is worthy of clinical reference applications.关键词
