摘要

Abstract

Dengue virus ( DENV) infection has been considered a serious global health issue .Therefore, the development of a safe and effective vaccine is an urgent public health priority .Compared with live attenuated and inactive vaccines , DNA vaccination represents an attractive alternative to traditional vaccines , as it confers many advantages , such as easy development and production , cost-effectiveness , no risk for infection , stability for storage and shipping , and long-term persistence of immunogens .This review introduced the research progress in some DENV DNA vaccines in terms of construction strategies , inoculation methods , immunization strategies , immunologic adjuvants and immune effect .
