摘要

Abstract

Objective]Selenium in soil and fertilizer becomes selenium-binding protein when it is absorbed by plants and then combined with proteins and active organic ingredients.Based on the structure and function of selenium-binding protein,the study explored the relationship between it and drought tolerance.[Methods]In the study,drought tolerant variety (GG)and drought sensitive variety (JF1 6)were used as test materials,and 10 genes of selenium-binding pro-tein gene family were studied.Using bioinformatics,the basic information of the genes,the genetic relationship among the genes and the cis-acting elements in promoters were analyzed.The expression pattern of the Seita.4G100300 gene was analyzed.[Results]It was found that the regulatory elements within the upstream 1 500 bp in promoter of selenium-binding protein gene family in foxtail millet had the functions of responding to multiple stresses (ABA,Ethy,GA, MeJA,Light,MYB,SA,heat,low temperature).After drought tolerance,the expression levels of Seita.4G100300 gene increased in both GG and JF1 6. And the rise of expression level in GG (drought tolerant variety)was significantly higher than that in JF1 6 (drought sensitive variety).[Conclusion]The selenium-binding protein gene family has rich di-versity in the amino acid sequence and expression pattern.The study will help us to understand the structure and func-tion of selenium-binding protein.And it will provide a theoretical basis for the further study of the relationship between selenium-binding protein and plant stress resistance.
