Abstract

ABSTRACT:The temperature effect on the frequency domain dielectric spectrum of oil-paper insulation is very obvious. Oil gap is one of the most important components of oil-paper insulation. In this paper, a normalizing method was studied based on the AC conductivity of oil gap:firstly, the correlation between relative complex permittivity and AC conductivity was deduced; then, on the basis of experiments, a law of temperature effect on the frequency domain AC conductivity spectrum of oil gap was proposed and testified. Meantime, the normalizing equations were proposed; finally, on the basis of above studies, a normalizing method was proposed which can normalize the frequency domain dielectric spectrum of oil gap from testing temperature to the reference temperature. The studied results show that on the basis of proposed method, the frequency domain dielectric spectrum of oil gap can be normalized effectively.
