Investigation on Risk Factors of the Entry of Transboundary Animal Diseases from Xinjiang Border
摘要
Abstract
Due to the vast geographic area and a complex epidemic situation in surrounding countries,Xinjiang is in danger of being introduced exotic animal diseases at any time. An investigation on risk factors of the entry of such animal diseases was conducted. The results showed that the boundary of Xinjiang was long with many countries bordering with it,and the results also indicated that the region had very complex geographic environments,frequent trade of animals and animal products,as well as a wide variety of wildlife. Although the separation facilities along the boundary are relatively perfect,the risk factors of the entry of transboundary animal diseases still exist,and the targeted prevention and control measures in the border shall be strengthened.关键词
