LHC上重夸克偶素hc(hb)与光子伴随产生的研究
The research of heavy quarkonium hc(hb) production in association with a photon at the LHC
摘要
Abstract
By nonrelativistic QCD(NRQCD) theory, the associated production of prompt heavy quarkonium hc(hb) in association with a photon at the LHC was investigated.The total cross section and pT differential cross section of the processes pp→hQ+γ were calculated.In our calculation, the contribution of Fock state of n=1S,1P to the heavy quarkonium hQ was taken into consideration.From the result, the cross section of the processes pp→hc+γ, in reasonable parameter space, it could reach8×104 pb.As for the processes pp→hb+γ in reasonable parameter space, it could reach1.5×106 pb.Given the luminosity of LHC, these processes had the potential that could be tested on the LHC, the experimental research of this process might give a very important support for investigating NRQCD.关键词
