摘要

Abstract

In order to study the influence of electro-geometric model on risk assessment of lightning surges in 500kV substation, this paper analysis and compare the electro-geometric models proposed by domestic and abroad scholars. The Matlab program and ATP-EMTP overvoltage calculation are combined and adopted in the model used for 500kV substation lightning surges analysis. Under different electro-geometric models, the influence of lightning current distribution, tower height and tower grounding resistance of substation into line segment on MTBF (Mean Time Between Failure) of 500kV substation main transformer are analyzed. The research results could provide the basis of design and assessment used in lightning overvoltage and insulation coordination of 500kV substations.
