Abstract
Objective To study RegX3 gene expression of Mycobacterium tuberculosis ( MTB) and to predict the structure and function of its coding protein by bioinformatics technology .Methods MTB strains were isolated from clinical patients and RegX3 gene was amplificated by PCR and sequenced ,then analysed its gene expression and poly-morphism.The structure and function of RegX3 protein was analyzed by bioinformatics technology .Results Positive rate of RegX3 gene was 65 .9%( 27/41 ) from clinical patients .Sequencing results showed that the 11 .1%( 3/27 ) RegX3 gene occur base insertion ,deletion and substitution .Bioinformatics analysis showed that RegX 3 protein belong to the stable protein,it's hydrophilicity was better than hydrophobic .In the secondary structure of RegX3 protein,alpha helix and random curl were the majority ,and it had eight phosphorylation sites .Conclusion RegX3 gene was highly conservative .Bioinformatics analysis of RegX 3 protein provides guidance for further research protein function .关键词
