Biological Functions of Verbascoside and Its Application in Animal Production
摘要
Abstract
As a kind of phenylpropanoid glycoside, various plants contain verbascoside. Some researches showed verbascoside could improve meat and milk quality and increase animal performance. This article re⁃viewed the main biological functions such as antioxidation and anti⁃inflammatory, and the latest available ex⁃traction, qualitative and quantitative analysis methods, as well as application of verbascoside in animal produc⁃tion. This review could be helpful to further application of verbascoside in animal production.关键词
