摘要

Abstract

In order to improve the welding quality of dissimilar steel 42CrMo and Q345D, as well as the matching degree of welded joint and base metal, it conducted submerged arc welding test and welding procedure qualification for 42CrMo and Q345D forge welding gear. The comprehensive performance of medium carbon quenched and tempered steel 42CrMo is good, which was used for forge welding gear ring; Q345D steel has good low temperature (-20 ℃) impact characteristics, at the same time has a certain strength, was used for the ventral shield. The qualification results showed that the welded joint tensile, bending and impact test results all can meet the requirements of AWS D1.1:2010 standard; abnormal structure did not appear in weld and heat affected zone, such as martensite, widmanstatten structure and others. Research results indicated that choosing the appropriate welding material and welding process, and strictly control the heat input, can obtain the good welded joint, so as to achieve a good match with the strength of base metal, reduce the welding crack tendency. The welding process instruction formed through this test can be used to guide the welding production.
