Abstract
Layout of mechanical products, tools, tooling in 3D assembly simulation is prerequiste to verify the assembly process simulation. For the information integrity of the assembly modeling and manageability of the model data under virtual environment,the data model with assembly features is used to establish a tree shaped assembly structure which is used to associate the assembly features with the parts,tools, tooling and products. In order to accurately define and arrange the layout of products,tools,tooling,a real time method is used to pick up and analyze the geometry data with the assembly features. The method is characteristic of sim ̄ple and quick operation, high real-time and easy modification of the scene layout. The generated three-dimensional scene file is used in integrated 3D simulation and verification of the subsequent assembly tool and tooling. In the prototype system,the practicality of this method is verified.关键词
