Abstract
Objective:To investigate the expressions of PCNA and P21 in the tissues of pleomorphic adenoma( PA) and malignant pleomorphic adenoma( MPA) and discuss its clinical significance. Methods:The expressions of PCNA and P21 in normal tissue adjacent to tumors group NM,PA and MPA were tested by immunohistochemical staining method repectively. Results:Compared with group NM,there were statistically significant differences in the positive expression of PCNA and P21 both in group PA and group MPA(P<0. 01). There was statistically significant difference in the positive expression of PCNA between PA and MPA(P<0. 05). But there was no statistically significant difference in the positive expression of P21 be-tween PA and MPA(P>0. 05). Conclusion:PCNA can objectively reflect the cell proliferation characteristics of PA or MPA and determine the differentiation and prognosis of tumor. The overexpression of P21 may play an important role in the early stage of the PA and MPA. The expression of both positive rate was consistent in the tissues of PA and MPA.关键词
