摘要

Abstract

The regeneration noise mechanism and influence factors of simple reactive muffler were studied from the point of view of sound source type based on CFD and Virtual.Lab. The results show that flow regeneration noise is primarily caused by the dipole and quadrupole source and it becomes larger when the flow velocity and offset distance of outlet pipe are increased. The quadrupole is the main source of flow regeneration noise in the reactive muffler when compared with the dipole, especially in the low frequency region.Finally the conclusion drawn from the comparison of simulation results of the two methods shows that the two source types are irrelevant. The paper provides a new idea to calculate the flow regeneration noise.
