新疆维吾尔族人群中MTHFR、MTRR基因多态性与NAFLD的相关性
Correlations between MTHFR and MTRR gene polymorphisms and NAFLD in Uygur population of Xinjiang
摘要
Abstract
Objective To investigate the correlations between the methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase (MTHFR)and methionine synthase reductase (MTRR)gene polymorphisms and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD)in Uygur pop-ulations from Xinjiang. Methods Totally 325 Uygur patients with NAFLD (NAFLD group)and 304 healthy controls from physical checkups were selected.Questionnaire survey, physical examination and detections of blood biochemical in-dexes were conducted. The gene polymorphisms of MTHFR C677T and A1298C and MTRR A66G in the two groups were detected by improved multiple ligase detection reaction. The correlations between NAFLD and gene polymorphisms of MTH-FR C677T and A1298C and MTRR A66G in Uygur populations from Xinjiang were analyzed by multivariate Logistic regres-sion.Results No significant difference was found in the genotype and allelic distribution of MTHFR C677T and A1298C and MTRR A66G between the NAFLD and the control group (P>0.05).After adjusting confounding factors,an associa-tion of MTHFR A1298C with NAFLD was observed in the recessive model (OR=2.023,P<0.05),while in the additive and dominant models,no statistically significant difference was found (P>0.05 ).No statistically significant difference was found in the genotype distribution of MTHFR 677T and MTRR A66G in the additive model, dominant model and reces-sive model (P>0.05 ).Conclusion The gene polymorphism of MTHFR A1298C is associated with the occurrence of NAFLD in Xinjiang Uygur population and AA genotype may increase the risk of NAFLD.关键词
